Yesterday was a wonderful day as the Hive account@steemitashanti community which is a regional section of the Hive account@steemitghana community went to the kumasi childrens home.

I was all joy to see all thses kids come around and cheer with us.

Why We Choose February

This month is greatly signified with love as the Valentine's day is celebrated in this month. It has become very much associated with given, and though we pray that we do not forget people and remember them only during events as such but we are glad to have fixed it in this month.

Organization

It always is a task to gather and bring people together to perform an event, I was very much amazed, though we actually just asked people to bring whatever they can support with it is really true what they say, little drops of water makes a mighty ocean.

Event day

We all assembled at the premises in a summer hut in the childrens home. Some arrived on time and others as usual appeared in the dying moments of the whole programme.....lol no names. All the items that were brought were garthered. Drip, drop, drip the ocean was formed.

Official registrationand donation was done, the donation was done in the name of steemit Ashanti and all items were handed over to the administrator

Fun Part

This around were made to wear the customized and famous Steemit Ghana apparel and they were soo amazed. there was this one little guy who immidiately told he wanted one of our shirts as soon as we arrived and I had to persuade him to wait a little and promise I was going to give him one.... this is the guy, I call him soldier man

It was amaxing when these little ones just wanted to grabe a copy of the sheets of paypers with their name on it.
Steemians weere also made to grab their own copy with their handle on it and it was soo much fun.
