These are recent experimentations on typography I’ve been working on.
Typography is a huge part of our daily lives, always around us, every time we read, text, when we go out, and that’s the result of a long and intricate evolution, from Cuneiform writing to the letters we are using at this very moment.
#Letters are essential elements of our writing system and the correlation between letters is what makes words and sentences possible so we can communicate.
The isolation of a letter (or type) allows us to see the main elements of its structure that makes it readable.
Typographic design focuses on the observation and interpretation of those elements in order to expand the communication properties of the characters.
The following #graphics explore the ideas of possibility and impossibility as #visual foundation for the construction of letters.
