About 28 years ago, I was young and immersed in the traditions of rural bengal.Yes that was in the late 90s when there was no light or internet tower in our village or on the road. There was no SIM card tower or any mobile phone. There was internet, Android mobile phone and even a button phone then.It feels like I left my childhood behind a few days ago.I've left those behind, it's been many years now.

Today I would like to briefly share some memories from the late 90s that are deeply ingrained in my soul.Hey at the end of the 90s, when we had only a village surrounded by nature. There was no light or internet tower around.Yes there was electricity, but it wasn't very developed. Not all houses had electricity lines, only some developed houses had electricity lines.

At that time, our only place of entertainment was the nature of rural Bengal or the Metho Path.We used to walk along the Metho Path and often ride our domestic animals in the fields."Metho path, I meant the dirt road.We had various rural games and dances for entertainment. We could only watch one movie a week on government television. However in the modern digital age, it seems like how sweet those late nineties were.

One of the most enjoyable times of the year was summer.During some times of the summer, such as the month of Baishakh, we would pick juicy summer fruits during stormy rains. One of the main forms of entertainment in rural towns was the rural fair.Every year in the month of Baishakh, rural fairs were held at different places and were the best form of entertainment for us.We all used to have so much fun at rural fairs but those days are gone.

Even though that day is gone, Baisakhi fairs are still observed in some places in rural areas. For example a Baisakhi fair is being held in our neighboring village, Sampati.Recently I went to that fair with my daughter and I got my childhood back.My daughter enjoyed these fairs as much as I did in my childhood. My neighbors went to the fair with me.This rural fair has given me joy after a long time.

The fair includes all the traditional foods and children's toys. There is the entertainment of the children's park. There is a lot of traditional wooden furniture from rural Bengal. My daughter wanted to get on the Nagardola but I stopped her and she got on a train. There is a train for the little ones to enjoy. My daughter really enjoyed those moments so I recorded a video of the fair. You can enjoy the fair views.

This reminded me of my childhood memories because I had seen such a Baisakhi fair in my childhood. So recently I went to that fair and I thank the village that organized it.It was enough for entertainment so I came to share it with you.You can watch the video and also enjoy the pictures I have shared. There was a lot of noise in the fair, so I turned off the noise and added a music behind the video.
