Well here is my story :) and several things that clicked ... I hope you enjoy the read this is not a fictional story .... But a real one...
1st I learned that out of 1000 followers :) that I have only 200 actually interact with my account and read my stuff... Another 500 have not been in steemit for the past month............
So you got to imagine that this rang a bell in my head thinking that I have been delusional about my success on steemit by now ...
Furthermore I learn that the Views Count on the posts has nothing to do with reality except if it has 0 views .... or 1 ... because you can keep on refreshing your page and the counter will go nuts on you oh well ....
Thank the top of the cherry was a convo I see in one of the communities that for two years only 16 people are left who were there since the beginning out of 2000 .
Than it hit me some maths .... that is about 1% only remained in steemit
That is very concerning numbers there guys....
Oh also I learn that the real active accounts without the bots are about 40k ...(that was about 3 months ago when I came to steemit...)
Well with all that Said ... I am still behind the Idea and all that.... But may be we have to think what is really drawing people away from steemit ... We should do something in that direction for sure...
Also lets not forget that steemit is Social Network after all in first place so you got to be social to succeed here it is obviously not the typical blogging site that you have expected it to be :)
