Who said life would always be straight, or, life would always be complicated twists and turns? Nothing lasts forever.
Late breakfast? No problem. Better than never. It was like small steps that just started after failure. Nothing is ever wasted for all that we do. The Universe will return it all to you time and time again. Like breakfast which becomes energy many times over even though this time it is a late breakfast.
This time my husband and I had business in the middle of town. So, we just got to have breakfast around 10.30. Fortunately, our stomachs haven't made big complaints for late breakfast š
Every day is never the same. Sometimes so much free time. Sometimes there are so many problems and work to be done. Sometimes a lot of time spoiling with my husband in the morning. We have breakfast in the bed. My husband made me a cup of hot coffee and a sandwich. Sometimes, like this time. We didn't have time to have breakfast at home.
Also, I'm sleep deprived too. My energy is running low. So, I need something sweet. My husband took me to a favorite place of mine. He understands that what I need is good food besides himself by my side. šā¤ļø
We stopped at my favorite cafe. Then, I ordered a set breakfast. There are toast, hot tea Tarik (tea made by being pulled from one glass to another in a kind of attraction), and soft-boiled eggs.
For the soft-boiled egg, it's not in the photo because it's already in my stomach first š what a perfect start into my stomach.
HOT TARIK TEA
Hot Teh Tarik really warms my body. Such a blessing that came in my life. Like the morning sun after the dark of the night. Like moist dew to refresh the leaves and blooming flowers.
Well, actually Hot Teh Tarik is a combination of tea and milk. The use of a different milk (milk from the local area) will usually affect the taste of the drink. On the surface of the glass you can see a lot of foam caused by the flow of tea being pulled (moved) from one glass to another.
Hot Teh Tarik is a hot drink worth trying if you visit various regions in Indonesia, or even Malaysia and Singapore.
I remember, a Hot Teh Tarik in Batam City, a city in Indonesia which is very close to Malaysia and Singapore. In Batam City, Hot Teh Tarik has a thicker tea taste and more savory milk. A bit like Thai Tea.
SRIKAYA AND CHEESE TOAST
In Indonesia, we have a local jam. Called srikaya. Srikaya is made from eggs, sugar, coconut milk. We usually spread our bread with Srikaya filling.
For my toast, I ordered filled with srikaya jam and cheese. They come to me with a really fresh and warm fragrance!
A mood booster. From hot toasts. Filling with local Srikaya jam and cheese.
I smile even though my eyes lack sleep. But, I'm quite happy with the breakfast set that doesn't fail. I'm ready to move on with a life that's never been okay. I must be strong. We have to be strong. You must be strong.
Don't forget your breakfast, your energy. And fill your mind and mentality with something positive and beautiful. Just leave the things that drain your energy.
ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø See you!
