Over the next few years, 97% of all cashiers are set to lose their jobs to automation, a field that women make up 73% of. This is only one of the fields where women are set to lose jobs to automation. Additionally, recent economic signs suggest that we are potentially headed for another recession as the construction and housing industries continue to lag.
