Today we again visited the veterinary clinic. There are test results already.
Today we have:
two huge mammary tumors,
bite wounds on nose and back,
endometriosis,
venereal sarcoma (to be specified)
dirofillariasis.
The treatment will be long, difficult and expensive ... The main problem is that the dog is very weak. A large shepherd dog, it weighs only 27 kilograms, while each of the two tumors is about 2 kilograms. I feed her 4 times a day, not too large portions, so that she got a little stronger.
The surgery to remove tumors is scheduled for February 17th. This will be a difficult operation, so three vets will be present. There is a danger of large blood loss. I also started additional nutrition for our two largest and healthiest dogs in case a blood donor is needed for Romashka.
I really hope that everything will be fine.
