I have one lupin plant blooming in my garden this year, and it is purple
Last year we colleced seeds from the wild lupins growing along the roadside and tossed them in this small hill garden. We did this in the fall because lupin seeds need a period of freezing weather before they will germinate.
Previously it was just weeds covering dry rocky soil, now just look at all the young lupin plants!
They won't bloom this year, but year should bring a colorful display.
Thanks for visiting my garden blog. 🌻
