Life in Europe

Fall in love with Fall [Berlin, Germany]
Over the past few years I have been patiently looking for a place in this city where I can simply love, relax and feel happy about myself to be here. Even though I am a city girl type (I've lived my whole life in an urban setting) walking in the forest, feeling the green nature has been a big part of who I am, it gives me such energy and strength. For me a great forest is a place of tranquility, it heals and calms me, and takes me away from busy daily routine.
And finally this Autumn... I might have found one place something might be close to my heart, that is called Charlottenburg Palace Gardens. It is known for Berlin's most beautiful baroque garden, which lies in a vast space behind the Charlottenburg Palace.
There are some popular places where Berliners love to chill out in the city, such as Tiergarten (a central park), Britzer Garten (a large well maintained park), Wannsee (a large lake and forest area), etc. But none of these places had such an impact on me as Charlottenburg Palace Gardens.
This below photos are taken about a few weeks ago, the fallen leaves are still a greeny yellow, the trees still have lots of leaves..... Can you see how freshly these leaves have fallen? We couldn't help starting to pick the acorns up and smelling them - what a heavenly earthy smell!
We have been extremely blessed with the weather this year. The Autumn has been unusually tropical with warm and bright sunny days. I am planning to go back to this garden tomorrow to see how the trees have changed colour even further. (I've absolutely fallen in love with this place!)
Days decrease, and Autumn grows, Autumn in everything.
