Hello to all my friends of Steemit.

My name is Anna Ntenta, Hive account@annadeda is my Steemit name and I am here on Steemit approximately six months now.
When I first started to post on Steemit, I wasn't even aware of what would follow from then on. But please let me start from the beginning.

As all of you may know by now, I am a Paralympic medallist. My Sport is called Boccia and it is a sport for people with severe disabilities. As I am a new athlete on this Sport, I consider myself very lucky to have managed to obtain 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal and 3 bronze medals, with the top success the medal on the Paralympic games Rio 2016 in Brazil.

Unfortunately though due to the economical crisis here in Greece, our Sport Federation is not able to pay for my expenses so that I can participate in all the Championships needed to secure my qualification for Tokyo paralympic Games 2020. Needless to say that I was devastated by this news because as a new athlete I haven't had the chance to get any sponsor's support yet and my personal financial state is not by any chance enough to pay by myself for my participation in these Championships.

So was at the time, about 6 months ago when my sister Hive account@mariaentela and a dear friend of mine Hive account@otsouvalas told me about the Steemit platform. And so I was introduced to Steemit with a post asking for help to collect founding for my participation in the different championships to enable my qualification for Tokyo paralympic games 2020.

In any way was I prepared for receiving so much love from my friends of Steemit. Special and important people such as the sweetest Steemit Witness Hive account@liondani , the generous Hive account@onceuponatime , the formidable Hive account@kpine and the fairy beautiful Hive account@mariandavp not only are helping me collect the amount of money I need but they also give me so much love and motivation with their messages and replies on my posts. Words are not enough to express my gratitude to those people. The same way I want to say a big thank you to the Greek community of Steemit which helped me grow and show me that nothing is impossible when you have friends and people that love you.

After so much love I received from Steemit, I was thinking of how can I repay those people apart from trying to win and dedicate my medals from now on. As I couldn't find a better way I thought that maybe if I grow a little more on this platform, I am going to be able to give some more with my vote to those people and to Steemit users in general. The thought of returning the love I received made me very happy and so a few months ago I decided to invest a part of the money I received from my Steemit posts to grow my steam power so that my vote power is a bit more big. It was the least I could do to show my gratitude to this platform, to this community, to the people I love and respect.

Using Steemit money to participate on my Championships is a great way to let people from all over the world know about the platform. I am so proud to have the logo of Steemit decorate my sport equipment and have so many t-shirts and caps with the logo of Steemit that I wear when I am on my trips. When people ask me about my sponsor, I feel so proud and happy that finally I can talk and let all the world know about the generous community that is called Steemit.

Concluding this post, I wanted to say a big thank you to the most wonderful Hive account@kpine not only for the great support he's giving me but also for this great contest because it gave me the opportunity to show my gratitude and my pride of being on this platform.
