Good morning to all lovers of plants and flowers. Today I want to share with you the birth of a new inhabitant of my home and my garden. It is a beautiful flower that nature gave me very early in the middle of this rainy dawn. But I tell you the story.
Buenos días a todos los amantes de las plantas y las flores. Hoy quiero compartrir con ustedes el nacimiento de una nueva habitante de mi hogar y mi jardín. Se trata de una hermosa flor que la naturaleza me obsequió muy temprano en medio de este amanecer lluvioso. Pero les cuento la historia.
I recently had a plant in my garden that was damaged during masonry work. A neighbor gave it to me, and it hurt me a lot to see it damaged. They damaged it from the bottom of its stem and the flower it had fell off. A friend told me that if it had dried up on the ground, many more would soon be born because its little seeds came out of the flower, and indeed it was. I have many plants of this beautiful flower scattered on the floor. I asked its name and nobody knew it, so I began to investigate the web placing its characteristics. That way I learned its name and the ways to plant and care for it.
Recientemente tuve una planta en mi jardín que se me estropeó durante un trabajo de albañilería. Me la regaló una vecina, y me dolió mucho al verla estropeada. La dañaron desde el pie de su tallo y la flor que tenía se cayó. Una amiga me dijo que si se había secado en la tierra pronto nacerían muchas más porque de la flor salían sus semillitas, y en efecto así fue. Tengo muchas plantas de esta hermosa flor regadas por el piso. Pregunté su nombre y nadie lo sabía, por lo que comencé a indagar en la web colocando sus características. De esa manera supe su nombre y las maneras de plantarla y cuidarla.

The plant receives the name of Celosía or Flower of Love. That second name suits it wonderfully because it has a beautiful intense red color. I have even planted it in small waste pots to place it inside the house. The largest grew in the kitchen entrance and I did not want to remove it, in fact two were born; one on each side and at this moment one of them grew almost to the height of the door.
La planta recibe el nombre de Celosía o Flor del Amor. Ese segundo nombre le viene de maravilla porque tiene un color rojo intenso hermosísimo. Yo la he sembrado incluso en potecitos de desecho para colocarla en el interior de la casa. La más grande creció en la entrada de la cocina y no quise retirarla, de hecho nacieron dos; una de cada lado y en este momento una de ellas creció casi a la altura de la puerta.

This very rainy morning, my latticework surprised me with a beautiful flower, it is just sprouting and already has an intense red color. But apparently it takes a few days to grow and form well. In the same way I will wait for her to enjoy that tonality that gives life to my surroundings.
Esta mañana muy lluviosa, mi celosía me sorprendió con una hermosa flor, apenas viene brotando y ya posee un color rojo intenso. Pero al parecer tarda algunos días en crecer y formarse bien. De igual manera yo la esperaré para disfrutar de esa tonalidad que le da vida a mi entorno.

Among the things I inquired about this flower are the following:
- Its name is Celosía argentea var. feathery.
- The only way to get the lattices is through the seeds.
- Two requirements for the germination of this plant are: warm soil and moisture.
Entre las cosas que indagué acerca de esta flor están las siguientes:
- Su nombre es Celosía argentea var. plumosa.
- La única forma de obtener las celosías es a través de las semillas.
- Dos requisitos para la germinación de esta planta son: suelo cálido y humedad.

Little by little I will be transplanting those that are scattered on the ground in more or less large pots so that their roots have space to form a tall and leafy plant with future red flowers as intense as the love itself that it gives us.
Poco a poco iré trasplantando las que están dispersas por el suelo en macetas más o menos grandes para que su raíz tenga espacio de formar una planta alta y frondosa con futuras flores rojas tan intensas como el amor mismo que nos regala.
