Good evening friends, it's a pleasure to greet you, thank you for visiting me in this new sewing segment, I bring you a very easy and simple idea that is also very practical that you can do to your jeans that have no life and you want to give them a change because they are still useful, well here I bring you the solution, and today I will be transforming my Bermuda jeans that I had stored in the closet, they needed to give them their change, so it occurred to me to make this nice design, of course it was a bit tight on the bottom leg, so I decided to transform it better with this design that I want to share with you, I hope you like the idea and you can do the same to your jeans. 👖

Paso 01

Step 01

The first step we will do is to place our double jeans and measure the length we want along the sides. In this case, I measured it at 30 cm long. Now, if we are going to cut the leg part of the jeans, we open it and our shorts should fit.

As a second step, we are going to take a strip of the same jeans fabric and with the tweezers, we are going to unravel the fabric so that only the edges do not fray as much. Then, we are going to take the hem of the pants and I have sewn it in this way with a zigzag on the hem to prevent the hem from fraying.

The waistband of the jeans shorts was unstitched so I just sewed it back on as is so it's barely noticeable that it was torn.

Finally, I took the hem piece with pins and placed it right on the hem of the jeans. From there, I sewed the seam with a straight seam all the way around the leg of the jeans. We sewed it carefully. We also sewed the other side. In this simple way, our shorts are ready.
