The point of this Scholarship contest was to reward those content creators who understood that even though the price of Steem was at its lowest point in 2018 during December, this was the best time to post frequently quality content and to earn cheap Steem (regarding current price) in post rewards. The idea was to reward some of those users who stick with the platform and do not lower their engagement with other Steemians even when the rewards, the Steem price and the general involvement is at its lowest.
Ten Steemians were the lucky ones to win this monthly support. Out of the more than 220 participants, these quality content creators were the lucky - and hard earning ones - to get both
Getting a blocktrades vote feels amazing, one moment your post has only a few bucks in rewards (if you're lucky) and the next one Bum! It's at double digits - or even triple digits when the Steem price is generous -, it is amazing and a lot of people have written me in the past like Oh my God, I got my first blocktrades vote, I'm so happy!, And I believe them because I felt the same way back in September 2017 when I got my first gigantic blocktrades vote.

It's something funny... days before this Contest announcement I told jokingly to a friend of mine that I was expecting some votes from Blocktrades xD and then guess what? :D :D... I actually won the contest! Having Blocktrades and anomadsoul´s support for a whole month boosted my account, pushing me to improve myself and my posting. Since many of my posts were on the trending page of the tags I used! Infinite thanks for such a gift!!!

Given the current payouts, I really wanted to win this contest. But I didn’t really count on it, because I rarely get lucky in various lotteries and games.
