This photo was captured on the rocky beach of Gaztelugatxe in the early morning in Basque Country province of Northern Spain. Most of the people attracted here by wonderful island which was filmed in Game of Thrones tv show as Dragonstone. Of course in Game of Thrones it was modified and composited with the computer generated castle, but still in its natural form the place is instantly recognisable.
My main goal was not Dragonstone prototype, but these wonderful rock formations in the sea. I was lucky enough with the weather - approaching rainstorm added additional dramatic mood for this scene. I used ND 5-stop filter to achieve exposure of 120 seconds and smooth the water of the stormy sea.
