Hello everyone!
Today I'll be sharing wonderful, colourful photos of my friend Ada I took on a collaborative photoshoot with my friend Kodeblacc.
This will also be my entry to 's competition. Thank you for the opportunity. It is an awesome avenue to show and behold wonderful work by wonderful people. I hope I get lucky😅.
As stated in my earlier posts, I love shooting with natural light and incorporating shadows (where I can) into my photos. Another thing I absolutely love are colours!
We shot at this wonderful flower patch we found at an estate nearby and we had a great time doing so too. For these photos, I used my friend's camera and lens accompanied by a reflector to lift the shadows on the model's face as much as I could with the natural light available.
While taking most of the shots, I chose to use low angles so as to capture the colourful flowers which were a bit high up. I also shot with a shallow depth of field to keep the subject as the priority as well as incorporate colours from the blurred out flowers at the back creating a nice Bokeh effect. Here are the photos I loved and ended up editing.
You could see how colourful and calm the photos are in general. Also I loved the Bokeh I got which is mostly due to the lens I used for the photos. They were taken with a Nikon D750 camera accompanied with an 85mm f/1.8 AF prime lens.
The photos were colourgraded on the Lightroom Mobile and Snapseed apps on my smartphone. They have taking the photos. The camera was a full-frame camera and as such, photos came out crisp and sharp. I shot the photos in JPEG format.
I hope you like colourful photos as much as I do, cause I'll be sharing lots more! 😁
