Hi, my name is Anya Rose.
I wanted to find a way of putting myself out there, to extend my knowledge and share my own.
As my life has progressed I have been given many challenges in life, divorced parents, two chronic auto-immune diseases and higher functioning autism. These have given me many questions and very few answers, but have provided a wider range of life experiences than the average person. As I am still young I do not claim to have all the answers, but I know that sharing the things I have learned though my mixed bag of a life may open the eyes of the blissfully blind, care for the hearts of the scared and afraid and expand the minds of the curious and caring.
I will have a few different kinds of articles to my blog:
Sections where I mainly talk about some of the questions that all ill people have to face.
Others where I talk about some of the problems that everyone grows up with, but with a few extra pieces of insight that some of the more physically, mentally or socially challenged may find useful.
And lastly, some where I talk about some of the struggles faced with a creative soul but a logical mind.
So things to bear in mind when reading what I write:
I am 16 years old and am currently finishing community college/ high school.
I have a higher functioning version of autism.
I am not particularly religious however do try to respect my fellow humans.
I have been trained in classical singing and have a mind for creative things.
I have struggled with anxiety, depression and mild schizophrenic tendencies.
I have divorced parents and one suffers with PTSD.
I do not wish to offend anyone when talking about my experiences.
I do talk to some medical professionals when I talk about physical / mental health and do not publish anything without at least talking to some family members as I do worry I may come off in a wrong way due to my limited social skills.
