Bitter Moon
If you see a bitter moon,
Let's hope it isn't glowing at high noon.
'Cause if it glows there all day,
You’ll know that I am far away.
Don't ever stare at the bitter moon,
As I will be home very soon.
When it glows kneel and pray,
'Cause homeward bound, I'm on my way.
When I see the bitter moon,
I will sing you a lovely tune.
As I sing to you all day,
Don’t fear now I'm here to stay.
