The price of crypto bitcoin currency is still at the level of 8,000 US dollars as investors step to digest the latest developments about the prohibition of digital token ads in social media.
Based on Bloomberg data, bitcoin prices were at 7,844.25 per US dollar at 9:42 am London time. Earlier, on Monday (26/3/2018) Twitter Inc said it would ban crypto currency ads, token sales.
Twitter joined Facebook Inc and Google's parent Alphabet Inc. to ban advertising of crypto currency sales. Not only bitcoin is weakened because of this ban, other crypto currencies like Ripple, Ether and litecoin also fall in value.
