The first digital drug in the U.S. that has a digital ingestion tracking system was approved by Food and Drug Administration. A prescription installed with a sensor that can tell doctors whether, and when, patients take their pill. The research team reported that a huge progress in the developing field of advanced gadgets intended to pill taking and to address the costly, longstanding issue that a large number of patients don't take medicine as recommended.
Patients who consent to take the computerized solution can sign to permit their doctors and up to four other individuals, including relatives, to get electronic information demonstrating the date and time pills are ingested. A cell phone application will give them a chance to see whenever they alter their time to taking the pill. This is great for patients that skip the pills. I just hope the tracking devices does not become the normal thing for people that want privacy. In my opinion this technology seems to open new & other ideas to develop more tracking devices so we can all be easily tracked. Let me know your opinion with these technology advancements ?
