Hello, all of my friends of the Hive Universe. How are you all? I hope you are all well by the grace of the Almighty. I am also fine. Today, I want to talk about my garden's Plant Red Kalanchoe which was added into my garden last month. Now I start to write about it. 😊

- English Name: Red Kalanchoe or Christmas kalanchoe
- Bangla Name: Patharkuchi
- Scientific Name: kalanchoe blossfeldiana
- Family name: Crassulaceae

I went to my aunt-in-law's house to buy clothes. She has a small business which is a clothing business. I brought some clothes which are called "Three piece" because I think it has three parts that's why. Then for making I give it to her. She is a great tailor also. In the meantime, she gave me breakfast to consume. I was eating that food, but my eyes were on her yard. Because her yard is full of flowers, fruits, and vegetable plants.

One day I will share with you all about her garden. In her garden, there is a red kalanchoe plant. I knew that it was a medicinal plant, so I asked for a few red kalanchoe plants. She gave me three plants. I took them. Then I reached my home. I freshen up and start planting the plants. I took a pot from the roof. The pot was empty, so I took it. Then I took soil from the yard of our old house and planted those plants.

After planting, I watered twice a day. Because it is the summer season. Plants need more water than in other seasons. After 10- 15 days one plant blooms with a Cluster of flowers. I was so happy to see it.

But the day when we were shifting our furniture, during that day, some laborers were coming and they opened our gate. So, the goat got a chance to enter and eat my full cluster of flowers. And also eat other plant leaves. I became sad to see it. The plant losses it’s beauty.

Sorry, I didn’t take any pictures of it and also, I didn’t take any pictures during the planting time of those plants. Actually, I was excited during the day when I planted those plants. I didn’t take any pictures. Later I didn’t take pictures of those plants because the flowers were eaten by a goat. But when one single flower started to bloom and finally bloom. I was so happy and took pictures. Then I think that I should share it because it is a medicinal plant.

Now another single flower is starting to bloom. I see in my ant in law house that they bloom in a cluster. But after eating by that goat. It gives a single flower. I am happy to see that at least it gives flowers.

When I was little, around 6-7 years old, I knew that it was a medicinal plant and could be eaten the raw leaves. During that time, I didn’t know much about it. In my boyhood, I knew that it helped to remove kidney stones. That's all I know about this plant. Let's know about its benefits and the consumption process together.
- Helps to remove kidney stones
- Supports urinary health
- Reduces inflammation and pain
- Manages diabetes
- Treats stomach issues
- It can help to treat wounds, burns, acne, and skin rashes
- It protects the liver
- It also takes respiratory care.

- It can be used in juice form. For example, 2-4 leaves can be washed thoroughly, and the juice extracted from those leaves or can be eaten directly after washing.
- By the process of boiling those leaves in water we can drink. We can add some honey to it then drink it.
- We can crush the leaves into a paste then apply to the skin to remove skin diseases.
