I's been a while since i posted on steemit about my journey in Day Trading. It has been about 4 days after my last post on Sunday December 9, 2017 and now i am back with an update...
I didn't post for 4 days simple because i found great advice from Chris Dunn, a famous vlogger on youtube about cryptos and trading stuffs and i tried his advice on one of his videos. He said "if you want to trade altcoins or bitcoin, separate yourself from social media buzz and trade solo for 1 week." This simply means, according to Chris Dunn, that you will find your own strategy by trading alone because in the first place online trading is a self study and no perfect formula or strategy one can apply or copy . It depends on your own risk management.
With this i decided to trade alone, take out myself from the buzz and hype of crypto fans and boom! I earned myself a good strategy in my trading.
for four days i earn a small amount of fiat in PHP (Philippine Peso) about Php 600 (net profit) in all four days but i also earned 0.00006128 BTC! this is only in coins.ph trading and i also started trading at Poloniex with Monero, Dash and Stellar Lumens. i earned a total of 0.001259 BTC trading on Poloniex and i buy and hold some Ethereum.
There are lots of things going through in my 4 days solo trading and i learned so much in it especially the best time zone and chart analysis as well as the market depths by looking at the Buy/Sell depths chart....
Although i earned some Fiat and BTC and other altcoins in both Coins.ph and Poloniex, i still cannot consider it as "PROFIT" because as what my good friend who is a financial adviser and business consultant said: "TRADING BUSINESS PROFIT ARE SEEN ONLY AFTER 6 MONTHS" because for him, the real income in trading is your battle versus Time Decay or the accumulation of your profit in every trade versus (+/-) the time or how long you gain such profit. So with this, i then realize that the true profit of a trader is to overcome TIME DECAY.
