Hello friends! To continue this dedication of sacred music for God in this week of the year, today I want to present the Caritas Et Amor by the American composer Zane Randall Stroope.
If the sublime becomes music, without a doubt it would become this work of the Master of contemporary music, as well as most of his choral compositions that as the years go by are heard more and in more places of the world with great acceptance.
The Ubi Caritas is a religious hymn normally used on holy Thursdays, a day where the foot washing performed by Jesus Christ is remembered. The translation of the text is "Where there is charity and love, there is God".
Ubi caritas et amor,
Deus ibi est.
Alleluia Domine.
Gaudium quod immensum est,
Infinite Saecula.
Amen.
