Clouds inside
Greetings to all.
Today I present my oil painting on canvas.
A seascape, a classic subject that recurs very often in my artistic research.
Subject, that of the sea, addressed by many artists, starting from the period of Romanticism.
The composition I present to you is very intense and painful.
The landscape I painted on a material surface, thickened with mixtures of color mixed with glue and putty.

The sea is only a small presence at the bottom, it occupies a limited space because what I wanted to highlight was the sky swollen with clouds.
The clouds inside, as sometimes happens, we feel them in the soul, redundant with melancholy or sadness.
Inflated, pasty, suffering but dynamic, moving like our moods.
Dark blue, tending to black, transforms to open at the top.
The light comes, the serenity from above that calms our agitations.
Or are they, the clouds closing to cloud our light?
I ask you my questions.

Nuvole dentro
Saluti a tutti.
Oggi vi presento un mio dipinto ad olio su tela.
Un paesaggio marino, soggetto classico che ricorre molto spesso nella mia ricerca artistica.
Soggetto, quello del mare, affrontato da molti artisti, partendo dal periodo del Romanticismo.
La composizione che vi presento è molto intensa e sofferta.
Il paesaggio l'ho dipinto su una superficie materica, inspessita da impasti di colore mescolato a colla e stucco.
Il mare è solo una piccola presenza in basso, occupa uno spazio limitato perchè quello che mi premeva evidenziare era il cielo gonfio di nuvole.
Le nuvole dentro, come qualche volta accade, le sentiamo nell'anima, ridondanti di malinconia o tristezza.
Gonfie, pastose, sofferte ma dinamiche, in movimento come i nostri stati d'animo.
Blu scure, tendenti al nero, si trasformano fino ad aprirsi in alto.
Arriva la luce, la serenità dall'alto che tranquillizza le nostre agitazioni.
Oppure sono loro, le nuvole che vanno a chiudere ad offuscare la nostra luce?
