The Landing - watercolors on paper
Hello all dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am returning to the sea to share my passion, seascapes. This time I wanted to depict a small landing place with not very reassuring colors, dark and backlit. I wanted to divide the scene into two parts the upper one where in addition to the sky of different shades we see some boats among the fog, very light and bright, while the part below shows the backlight with a decaying building on the right.

I did not want to depict a safe landing, but an ambiguous place related to the uncertainty of the journey.

L'approdo - acquarelli su carta
Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi torno in mare per condividere la mia passione, il paesaggio marino. Questa volta ho voluto raffigurare un piccolo approdo dai colori non molto rassicuranti, scuri ed in controluce. Ho voluto dividere la scena in due parti quella superiore dove oltre al cielo di diverse sfumature vediamo alcune imbarcazioni tra la nebbia, molto chiara e luminosa, mentre la parte sottostante mostra il controluce con un edificio in decadenza sulla destra.
Non ho voluto rappresentare un approdo sicuro, ma un luogo ambiguo e legato all'incertezza del viaggio.
