Chalk pastel on mix media paper
The boat gave me quite a bit of a heartache. I had only thought about the trees and the reflections and then when I finished that , I was totally lost. No idea wether to leave the water till the front edge or do something because it looked unfinished.
So came the boat and it went through some major overhaul till I settled on this one . I really like the way the reflections turned out as well as the water on the left side. And Chalk pastel is messier than inks - after a session I am covered with it as well as the painting ..lol..
