Last night, I posted about my latest personal 3d project that I called “Modern House 9” which is part of a long series of house design collections. It’s a series of 3d visualizations that feature modern houses. Some of the designs were all originally designed by me while some are based from existing designs that I partially revise or re-design.
In the first part of my process I went for the daylight scene which is simpler to set up. For this post, I will showcase the house in a night scene setting. It’s quite challenging since I’m using an HDRI image to light the environment. I had to test the render for about four times until I finally settled with the lighting effect that I wanted. The HDRI image also served as the background for the final rendered image.
In this scene I have to opt out for the Sun & Sky tool and utilize Dome light instead. I think dome light can produce an image with better contrast. The only downside is that the quality is less refined compared to the Sun & Sky system setup.

That’s about it for now and thank you for viewing my post.
