Hello everyone! Well here’s the continuation of yesterday’s blog post about my day trip to Los Angeles
I have always been fascinated by the area of LA known as Chinatown. It’s always so nostalgic to me as this is a place I would frequent with my father when I was a little girl.
It’s not as bustling as it once was. Many of the restaurants have long since closed and are abandoned while others have been replaced by touristy import shops.
However, I still enjoy strolling through the beautiful buildings.
I was sad to see this restaurant abandoned.
I stopped at my favorite herbalist to pick up some ginseng and jasmine pearl tea.
This is a favorite acupuncture and herbalist stop for many celebrities.
Right there in Chinatown you will find Skrillex’s (a famous edm DJ and producer, shop OWSLA.
Inside of a re-purposed car shop you will find all his clothing line which is one of my son’s favorite.
I had to make a stop to pick him up some shirts and caps since he was unable to go with me.
After all that running around I decided to drive to The Grove. This is one of my fave malls as they have a Laduree patisserie.
So pretty!
Yum!
Swoooon!
I found a seat...
And dug into this rose and raspberry dessert!
That was a perfect way to end my day trip!
Do you like going on day trips?
