How ironic that Poland and the rest of Eastern Europe, after suffering under Soviet communism, rushed like lambs to the slaughter, to join the EU. We all make mistakes, but they had the courage to honestly take a look at what they have done and - at least they are fighting back.

As far as I am concerned, the more the EU uses this kind of arrogant tactic, the better. They have 'punished' Poland and Hungary and are likely to try to do so with Italy. The more the merrier - maybe they will be stupid enough to 'punish' the UK? I would love for them to 'punish' Greece - the people are close to rebelling, as it is.

It is a truth, that even the govts who are trying to stand up for their citizens, cannot help thinking like politicians.
They have more information than us, so they think they see the bigger picture and try to negotiate - but the people have commonsense on their side - plus a gut feel...

The gut feel comes from having lived for hundreds of generations under govts that lie and cheat them.

The people of the EU countries are awakening to the fact that the EU is their enemy - and this is reinforced constantly by the spasmodic reactions of the stupid people in power.
