What the raffle is all about....

2-weeks ago, I announced my latest silver raffle and the response was amazing. Together you have helped raise well over 100 HBD and 50% of this has already been sent to Hive account@familyprotection :)

I'm doing this to raise funds for Hive account@familyprotection and to support my family's own battle with the Family Courts.

On top of the money raised directly from raffle tickets and post payouts, I have also received extra donations from Hive account@steeminganarchy, Hive account@practicalthought, Hive account@bashadow, and Hive account@lucylin. These acts of kindness will never be forgotten and will go along way to help me afford a vital appeal hearing.

I am unable to say much more about my situation due to the fact that I am now part of the Family Court process and have recently been issued a gagging order, restricting me from speaking out in public about this case. Being found in contempt of this order does not concern me but losing the chance to fight for my family in court would be devastating. So, for now, I will have to be careful about what I say. What I can tell you is that we are approaching the final week of this ordeal and the authorities have come to the end of their 26-week time frame. I pray that my niece will finally be reunited with her mother and I can update you with the good news.

Whatever happens, I want to thank you all for your kind words and support.

As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, I have 33 raffle tickets to give away. Thanks to Hive account@krnel the raffle tickets have already been paid for so they are free to whoever wants them. In order to be fair to those who have already purchased raffle tickets, I thought it best to ask a favour in return for a free raffle ticket. I announced this giveaway last week and so far nobody has taken up my offer. Now, I have no intention of flogging a dead horse so this is your last chance to take me up on this. Consequently, once this post is 7-days old I will be drawing the raffle whether those 33 tickets have gone or not.
