Mecidiye Mosque in Ortaköy,which is known Ortaköy Mosque and located on the shore in Ortaköy,Beşiktaş.It is one of the rare mosque which is built in the style of Neo Baroque..Known for its fine and elegant minarets, the mosque is built in mixed style. One is domed. In the transition from the dome to the square plan, the outer faces are covered with lead.The walls are made of white cut stone. The walls of the single dome are pink mosaic. The mihrab is made of mosaic and marble, and the mimber is made of marble coated with soma and is a product of fine workmanship.
Having been with elegant stonework up to the tops of minarets is an important feature of this exquisite mosque.
