The job can be fun, you don't know from day to day where you are going to end up as it is an industry that is full of surprises.
We deliver to a massage parlor on a regular basis, this is probably one of the top places that buys food from us each week, they spend between £100 and £200 on food and this is a nice reliable source of income for the shop.
I don't like going to places like this as it just isn't for me, I do understand why people go here and I have seen some characters coming in and out of the place (no pun intended).
Over the Christmas period I have been going there early, like 5pm and the place is so different to night time when the place is full of guys and girls.
They dress to impress that has to be said but it isn't somewhere I would like to find myself unless I was delivering food.
The other night I went to drop some food off, I walked in at 5pm and all the lights were on in the place, and there were no "Punters" just the girls getting ready for a hard night (Pun intended)
You have to wait to be buzzed through a massive metal door and a pimp, bodyguard lets you through the door, I found this to be really scary the first time I went in. now they just let me in without coming to the door.
I walked to the counter and there is a nice older lady who works the bar, she normally takes the food and pays me for it, she is chatty and nice and always tips, which is good for me :D
As soon as the girls know the food is there they are like children making a mad dash for it, they argue about who ordered what as they tuck in.
They all talk to me, and not in a way to make you think that they are wanting my money for sex, but more like we are talking if I went into a office.
I feel sorry for them as they seem to be really nice people who work there, they are just in a bad situation and need the money.
One girl was telling me that she got into it because an ex boyfriend made her, she was young at the time, he told her that they needed money and he had a "friend" who would pay her for sex.
Little did she know this was the start to something bad as he would invite more and more of his friends over to do this with her.
She told me that she did it because she was young and stupid and before she knew it she was sleeping with up to 5 men a night and she was tied in, when she wanted out her so called boyfriend kicked the fuck out of her and told her there was no way out.
I asked her why she kept doing the job, and she told me that when she managed to get away and move to another city, there was no where for her to live, no money and no job. she had no support and nothing to live for, she carried on by working the streets.
It was strange for me to listen to this and I really needed to get back to my job as she carried on telling me her life story.
I feel it for her I really do, I couldn't imagine been in a situation like that and I really wouldn't want this to happen to my kids.
I am not sure what to think about it as I don't really know her, I have however talked to the owner of the place and she told me that the girls come from places of the same and it is how their life has ended up.
It's sad that this could happen to anyone in this day of age.
