Welcome to Twirble Tuesdays; where I hit you on the head really hard with a broken pencil for not noticing some weird and wonderful artwork; both on an off the #artzone tag." For my first curation post my focus will be on unique pieces making under 5 SBD when I discover them.
Lets begin with@elohprojects who posted this magnificent video of work yesterday.

I discover a lot of great artists via the contests on steemit. This entry into the recent "Artexplosion" contest by is so subtle in it's dark beauty you might miss it.

Scrolling the tag today, I was struck by the composition of this piece. Unique and dynamic; you can follow the link to find the art's gallery in Japan.

Krasnec is one of my favorite visionary artists; her creations are so imaginative and original. Such an influence I keep finding some of her forms popping up in my own art lately.

I was going to link one of her unloved older posts; but one of my other favorite Steemit artists posted this today just like she was reading my mind.

creates long beautiful posts about the process of her work. I always feel like I have received a priceless gift when she lets me into her process and shares such beauty. I tend to emerge from her posts both happier and inspired.

@Georgeboya imagines some of the most magnificent surreal visual collages and he even lets you into a bit of his process. I also have been guilty of not giving his work enough love lately and only found it again via the artzone tag

Today posted this informative and beautiful post about Monotype technique.
posted this beautiful experiment in surrealism she create years ago; who thinks she should make more work in this style (raises hand).

I will only use images of art that utilize the tag; but I will note these two artists that deserve attention.
, who creates some of the most weird and wonderful charcoal drawings. https://steemit.com/art/@tomschlaiss/wild-rose
One of my favorite artists; let alone favorite Steemit artists; Otto Rapp constructs surreal and unusual charcoal drawings and wild visionary paintings. He is also very kind; giving thoughtful advice and promoting other artists work

already found these posts but they still need more love than they are getting.

Now let me address all the people who say "Steemit is a great idea but the content sucks"...eating your words I hope!!! I had a list of swearwords and insults I was thinking of throwing out but I decided to go classy.
As a sidenot(and I do mean not); I found searching through the tag difficult because so many artists were using others artwork; both with and without crediting them. (google image searching is a must)
Also; for some reason more than one account in the #artzone tag is using the art of Haitian Illustrator Chevelin Pierre as a header for their writing. For my particular post at least the focus is on artwork; so I will just share his website because I was quite impressed. http://chevelin-pierre.cgsociety.org/
This is signing off. Hope I did a good job curating my first #artzone post. Lot's of love!
