Many times, I’ve been asked to write introductions about myself, yet I find it arduous every single moment – and this is not an exemption. Giving it a small twist, I’ve asked few friends to think of one word that would best describe me, and the results were adorable.
Here are a few of their descriptions:
“Inscrutable – can’t figure you out, always wondering what you think and feel”
“Adventurous – open minded, likes to try different stuff, travel and do cool activities”
“Strong independent woman – dauntless; resolute; determined, fearless and firm, you choose your battles and stand for what you believe in no matter what others think. In the end, no matter what the result is you still stand firm for your decisions but also has the courage to accept things as they are. Acceptance is also a sign of bravery and fearlessness. You remind me of Kobe Bryant’s “mamba mentality” – you don’t quit, you don’t cower, you don’t run. You endure and conquer.”
“Go-getter in a positive light. She’s a person who works hard and is determined to succeed; fearless in pursuit of her goals and dreams especially on which will have lasting impact to her friends and family”
“Fighter – you’ve been through a lot and still manage to rise from the challenges. You are a strong woman. “
“Effervescent – bubbly; lively but not obnoxious; Cheerful because of all the positive vibes that you emit when thou art present.”
“Driven and compassionate – you set goals and go out to make them happen. You know what you want and for it. Compassionate for all the things you do for family, helping and giving time for them.”
It is pleasant to know how others see you as someone you never or seldom though yourself as. Gives a refined definition and would encouraged one to be a better version of themselves. And of course, there’s the vocabulary advancement, you’ll learn of new words specially when you have friends who are like walking dictionaries. Never hurts.
