"SteemPH Iligan Cores Discussed Future Projects"

What’s up steemians! Our small steemit community here in Iligan City has grown significantly in just a short period of time. And as far I can remember, Hive account@steemph.iligan was established in the mid-September of 2017. Our community was composed of about 3 to 5 people during that time. Those people have leveraged, which have then resulted in our growth.

Today, our community has reached an astonishing number of over 60 people, which come from different places in Northern Mindanao. However, the majority of that is from Iligan and is active on the platform. Therefore, a need for extra sets of core leader is necessary.

Our community adviser, Hive account@juvyjabian has organized a meeting which I then conveyed to our community members who are non-students. The meeting was supposed to be scheduled on Friday, but we rescheduled it today, Wednesday.

Since most of our members are students, only 5 people (including Hive account@juvyjabian) attended the said meeting. The main agenda of the meeting was Hive account@juvyjabian’s future project for the Iligan steemit community. The project is still a secret and we will announce it anytime as soon as it is ready.

One of the future projects which were discussed earlier was the scholarship program for elementary/high school students to be sponsored by Hive account@steemph.iligan. This project was opened up by Hive account@gilnambatac. He also discussed the details regarding the said project and we will provide details in our community account anytime soon.

With this project, the community aimed to provide an extra monetary support for aspiring students to help them in their education. The community will also teach them about blockchain technology, especially about the steemit platform and on how they could earn money after they reach the college level.

The other project which was discussed earlier was the proposed Blockchain Technology and Cryptocurrency Conference. The primary objective of this project is to educate people about this new technology and to help them avoid getting fooled by scammers who are using cryptocurrencies in networking scams.

Although the said event has still no definite schedule, we’ve already talked to certain people and have asked them to take part in the said event. During this event, the steemit platform will also be discussed. (Any support for this event will be much appreciated!)

So far, there were only three (3) future projects which were raised and discussed earlier in the first ever community meeting with the core leaders. The other one is still a top secret. Information will soon be announced once it is ready.

Anyway, please welcome our new Hive account@steemph.iligan core leaders, Hive account@gilnambatac, Hive account@paulthebeloved and Hive account@jeraterta. Our primary objective is to promote steemit platform in Iligan City and build a community of passionate and sociable steemians regardless of different cultures, interests and passion.

Then as usual, we talked about personal things as if we were already friends for a long time. By the way, the meeting was held at Tatay’s Grill in Tambo, Gerona in Iligan City. If you love sea foods, I would recommend this place. Also we met former DSWD Secretary Dinky Soliman in the place. HAHAHA! Unfortunately, only Hive account@jeraterta got the opportunity to take a selfie with her.
