The color statements are my way of expression

Some colors have a special meaning for me, but sometimes that meaning has little with their universally accepted color symbolism. So I thought to make an article about the nail polishes I often use to express either my moods or what is going on with me.

Some people have a problem to differ certain colors. I don’t know all official names of the colors, but I pretty sensitive on the shades.

You will see in the end how complex it can be.

I don't use any colorful makeup because I generally dislike that ( I also hate accessories and bags) but I do like nail polishes because they are easily managed.

This is a rotator with the various nail polish colors and this one has a dull matte top coat color palette. Matte is good because unlike of the shiny and pearly polishes, it is visually clean.

Colors are the statements, but it really depends on what is said with a specific color and from which point of a view. I listed some of mine.

BAD MOOD COLORS

02 WHITE

The whiteness of the soul - I'm wearing this only on ceremonies and funerals... meaning- you will see this on me if somebody dies, I will probably have this on and I will probably wear it for a long period of time. Things are even worse if it is not matte, but pearl white. Then it is an absolute tragedy for me.

14 Spun Pearl - SILVER hex:AAABB7 And 15 Storm GRAY hex:717486

I feel terrible. I need silence.
If you see me wearing this color I am probably halfway to my well-deserved vacation. It also means I have nothing new to share or that I don't wish to talk to anyone.

20 Bay of Many - DARK ELECTRIC BLUE hex:273A81

... troubles. Stay away. I will eat you for lunch. I literary cast lightning and I am definitely one step from the quarrel. I dislike you and I don't need to discuss anything.

CREATIVE COLORS

01 BLACK

Black is not actually a depressive color for me, it's a something we can wear daily. If you see me wearing black nail polish it has absolutely no meaning. Black color absorbs light and it is not a color, but a complete absence of it - so a complete absence of a statement - has no statement.

08 Wineberry - DARK PURPLE hex:591D35 13 Cosmic - VIOLET hex:76395D

Yes! I definitely like these colors and I can wear it when I am in a good mood, creative and involved with some nice artsy things.

18 Stromboli - EXTREME DARK GREEN hex:325D52

I like dark green colors, and in my universe, they symbolize the balance.

GRUDGE COLORS

09 Falu RED hex:801818

This is brownish-red color and most definitely I will wear it, but like any other RED shade for me, it symbolizes conflict, in this case, it is a conflict with a male person.

12 Fuchsia Pink hex: C154C1

Same like a conflict with a male with the brownish-reds, this color means that I am delivering a grudge or a conflict to a female person. I consider this color cheap and without any taste.

Apple GREEN hex:42B72A

This color spells 'you are invisible for me'. This is a basic color of the notification buttons on the web, so if I wear this - it basically means that I am angry and I want to blend a person in question with the background, don't want to hear or give that person credit for anything.

hex:FF7F50 Coral

This is basic coral color, it is something between orange and red and many people will mistake it for the orange which is only partially correct. Coral is cold orange color.
I hate corals ( coral color palette literary looks like something from hell to me) - basically because coral is a dead shell of a sea organism. If I wear it I think of somebody as an empty dead shell, with barely a superficial decorative meaning.

They all look very ‘orange’, but they are not.
Orange is not coral.
This is orange!
Do you see the difference??

Orange is warm and lovable, coral is cold and dead.

FAVORITE COLOR COMBINATION

I do have a favorite color combination which is quite confusing.
That is an orange with aqua (cyan) or a turquoise combination.
As same as an orange has the numerous variations, the same aqua have many as well.
Aqua is the first field, other two are turquoise.

HECTIC AND BUSY

11 Melrose PINK hex:C7C1FF

This is ultra cold light PINK color, and all color of this intensity means pretty much one thing - I am hyper and I have no time for losing on the boring things.

17 Marigold YELLOW hex: FBE870

This is another busy -bee color. It literary means that I am bursting of energy and I want to talk, a lot - mostly fun nonsense, but you can bet I am in the greatest mood.

19 Picton Blue - LIGHT VIVID BLUE hex:45B1E8

Light and energetic - this is a bright forecast color. It also means I can go crazy in a second just like the weather…

Persian Blue hex:1C39BB / Blue hex:3126CF

Too posh to notice anyone but me.
Probably I am very happy ( too happy) about my own thing, so if you don’t want to be bored listening how I am running my mouth about something 'so interesting' you better run in some other direction.
