This month I have some good news and some bad news. The bad news is our combined HBD did not reach $40 this month due to the low value of HIVE at the moment. In addition to this, life has been rough and I have missed several curation posts last month, and this has contributed to the Hive account@asean.hive account's HP actually shrink instead of grow. I was hoping to stop taking my 250 HIVE a week salary after reaching the USA, thinking I'd have a good hourly pay.
The reality here is very different, and at the moment my wife and I currently are working for around $4 USD per hour, less than what is legal, but that is the penalty of helping family. I think I will reinvest my next HIVE weekly salary to get us back to growth instead of loss. We are surviving though, just not well enough to rebuild a home upon our return to Cambodia or even afford the plane tickets and astronomical vet costs to send our cats back. We are stuck here for now, now what we wanted but what the universe has handed us, so I am simply doing my best to fight depression so I don't bring my family down with me.
Sorry to be so gloomy folks, but in more upful news, the PLATINUM VIPs took a larger share this month due to increased delegation activity.
