This is not a recap of my 2017.
This is not a tale telling you how fucking good 2018 is going to be.
This is just a reminder.
It seems as we end a year and move into a new one, there always come a time for self-reflection which obviously is GREAT but why is it such a thing?
Why not self-reflect throughout the whole year?
Each quarter? Each month? Each week? Each day?
Hell even every hour if you so wish to
Just because our linear calendar has decided that this is the end of one thing and the start of something new, doesn’t mean much really.
Every day you wake up is an opportunity for you to reflect upon anything you wish and to make steps towards change if you so wish to do that.
All these plans that people are making about 2018 is something else I don’t fully support.
This is what I see happening.
You make a plan. Stick to it for a while. Starting slacking on it. Feel a bit bad about that. Slack even more and eventually completely forget you had a plan in the first place. And then you suddenly remember you did have a plan and then you feel guilty/sad/bad about it.
I say, FUCK THAT!
I do not plan anymore.
I do not set specific goals.
I do not try to even decide where I want the flow of my life to go towards.
The life I live now is WAY better than any life-plan I have ever made.
I could not never ever have predicted this shit!
Because simply I wouldn’t have believed it.
So I say, fuck the plans!
Move with the river of life.
This is just the way I feel.
This is just the way I flow in life.
Non-planning and constant self-reflection is where it’s at!
Or atleast, that’s what works for me and may or may not work for you.
In the end, the message is always the same.
Just do YOU.
