Tonight was my bands last full rehearsal before we go to that London on Saturday.
I’m drumming with my noisy rock lads at Camden’s finest upstairs super-loud-sweat-box venue The Black Heart.
I’ve spent many hours over the years performing, and filming, in that place.
It’s no-frills, tiny stage and ridiculously loud PA make some kind of magic though.
We’re the opening act for our old pals G.U Medicine who are doing a come back tour after 10 years away, celebrating the life of their band member Pete who suddenly passed away 10 years ago.
All profits from the evening will go to The British Heart Foundation.
Have a listen to a slab of their rock:
Aaaaaand sounds like THIS
If anyone does fancy paying to see us three very loud rock bands then please do come along :)
Tonight was a good run through, though.
I mean the rehearsal room was absolute pants and the sound was awful
..but on the plus side we realised we are all syncopated to Dr Martens. ❤️ Gotta love the Docs.
