The Swampy Nature Preserve, Part 2
My wife and I continued on down the trail from where I left you in the last post. The sun was getting lower in the sky, as you can see in the photos. Lots of shadows were being cast by the many trees along the trail. This is some of the scenery that we saw...
We saw a muddy path with tire tracks...and decided to follow it.
It brought us to this...
Always remembering to look up...
And down...
We returned to the trail and saw that we had reached the 2.5-mile marker. It was getting late and we decided to turn back.
