Hola queridos amigos amantes del cine y de las series, el día de hoy estoy muy emocionada por participar en esta iniciativa de la comunidad, la primera en la que participo. Pero como me encantan las reseñas, tenía que participar.
¿En qué consiste la iniciativa? En hablar sobre al menos dos tv shows que nos gusten mucho y explicar el porqué. ¡Lets go! Trataré de hablar de las más top para mí porque soy fan de las series y tengo una lista larga de esas que volvería a ver una y otra vez. Pero les hablaré de 3 que son totalmente estilos diferentes; una comedia, una dark y una de análisis.

Ok, Friends es una de esas series- para mí- que no pasarán de moda. Puedo verla una y otra vez, sin cansarme me siento particularmente identificada con Phoebe, es mi personaje favorito. Además la serie es muy cotidiana, eso me gusta en una serie cuando se le permite al espectador ser parte del hogar de sus personajes. Además de que me parece uno de los programas más sólidos de la televisión. Sobretodo porque no sufrieron cambios bruscos con el elenco, eso sí que da rabia, cuando empatizas con un personaje y lo sacan del show. Tampoco la historia es de esas locas en las que cada temporada la saturaban de dramas como por ejemplo: Pretty Little Liars, quienes la hayan visto sabrán de qué hablo.

Ok, Friends is one of those series- for me- that will never go out of style. I can watch it over and over again, without getting tired I feel particularly identified with Phoebe, she is my favorite character. Besides, the series is very everyday, I like that in a series when the viewer is allowed to be part of the home of its characters. Besides that I think it is one of the most solid shows on television. Especially because they didn't suffer abrupt changes with the cast, that really makes you angry, when you empathize with a character and they take them out of the show. Nor is the story one of those crazy ones where every season they saturated it with dramas like for example: Pretty Little Liars, those who have seen it will know what I'm talking about.

Friends es una serie cómica que narra la historia de un grupo de seis amigos. Entre ellos hay roces, amor, desamor, drama, complicidad, pero sobretodo lealtad. Cada uno tiene una personalidad muy marcada por lo que es fácil que el público escoja a su favorito como lo hice yo al principio. Soy team Ross, Mónica y Phoebe. Además es una serie tipo tranqui que puedes disfrutar al llegar a casa, con tu novi@, sol@, no sé es disfrutable completamente.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY

Pasando a otro estilo, tengo pendiente hacer reseñas de esta serie por temporada, que, aunque es un poco comercial, ME ENCANTA. La estética, las historias un poco perturbadoras que al final tienen un toque de sátira me fascinan.

Moving on to another style, I have pending reviews of this seasonal series, which, although it is a bit commercial, I LOVE. The aesthetics, the slightly disturbing stories that in the end have a touch of satire fascinate me.

El culto hacia las leyendas e historias de terror tienen otro tinte con esta serie. Hay escenas de escenas, todo está básicamente cuadrado para que la gente más allá de asustarse, logre enamorarse de todo el ambiente. Por eso digo que es un poco comercial, siento que por buscar aprobación y llamar la atención de nuevas generaciones ha perdido un poco de magia. No obstante, me sigue gustando. Además de que creo que tienen un mensaje poderoso que raya a veces con la romantización de crímenes, por eso siempre me gusta verla, creo que me da una idea de cómo está la cultura estadounidense, principalmente.

The cult of legends and horror stories have another tinge with this series. Básicamente este programa de televisión de Fox, que cuenta con 10 temporadas, lleva a la pantalla chica historias de terror populares en América y el mundo. Cada temporada tiene su eje, por ejemplo, la primera titulada: “Murder House” relata la experiencia de una familia viviendo en una casa maldita. Pero como les digo más allá del ambiente tétrico siempre hay eventos o personajes que rompen con la pesadez y termina en sátira porque de por sí la cantidad de historias de terror que compilan son super fuertes.

A pesar de que cada temporada tiene un tema diferente, también tienen un orden cronológico para verla. Y por el contrario de lo que uno creería, la primera temporada, siguiendo la línea de tiempo de la dirección sería la quinta temporada porque hay un hilo narrativo entre ellas que sería interesante tratar luego. Ahora la segunda temporada llamada Asylum, a mí parecer es una de las más bizarras, super fuerte algunas escenas y sobretodo asquerosas. Confieso que me salté algunos cuadros porque de verdad que me parecían asquerosas. Sin embargo, disfruté mucho el tema manejado de un manicomio, conocerás métodos de tortura del siglo XIX, y mucho más. Coven, es otra de mis temporadas favoritas, un poco más artificial, menos grotesca pero chévere a mi parecer. Creo que mientras avanzaban las temporadas más populares se volvían incluyendo a personajes famosos o reconocidos en algunos episodios. De hecho aún no he terminado de ver las últimas temporadas. Perdí un poco de interés y el orden de toda la historia, pero sin duda la retomaré porque es a mi parecer una serie que vale la pena ver, ya que sus referencias a la cultura popular, sus cambios de épocas, la investigación y estética valen oro.

Although each season has a different theme, they also have a chronological order in which to watch it. And contrary to what one would think, the first season, following the direction's timeline would be the fifth season because there is a narrative thread between them that would be interesting to deal with later. Now the second season called Asylum, in my opinion is one of the most bizarre, super strong some scenes and above all disgusting. I confess that I skipped some frames because I really found them disgusting. However, I really enjoyed the theme of an insane asylum, you will learn about 19th century torture methods, and much more. Coven, is another of my favorite seasons, a little more artificial, less grotesque but cool in my opinion. I think that as the seasons progressed the more popular they became including famous or recognized characters in some episodes. In fact I still haven't finished watching the last few seasons. I lost a little bit of interest and the order of the whole story, but I will certainly pick it up again because it is in my opinion a series worth watching, since its references to popular culture, its changes of times, research and aesthetics are worth gold.

¿Qué puedo decir de esta serie sin hacer Spoilers? Es la serie mejor hecha de las que he mencionado con una temática ficcional que no está muy lejos de que sea una posibilidad teórica. Soy una chica sensorial y como tal, esta serie conectó conmigo desde el principio.
No es fácil hablar de Sense8, de hecho, me encantaría poder hacerlo más delante de una forma mucho más seria. Porque hay varios puntos a tratar como, por ejemplo, el nivel de producción e hilo audiovisual que conecta con la historia.
La serie fue creada por las hermanas Washowski, sí las mismas de The Matrix, así que pueden tener una idea de la explosión narrativa y audiovisual que tiene. Además, contó con la colaboración del director del Atla de las Nubes. ¡Toda una locura!
Fue una serie muy ambiciosa que no contó con suficiente apoyo monetario como se esperaría, a veces la calidad no va de la mano con el dinero ¿no les parece? La serie fue cancelada y nos dejó a la imaginación el final. Esperemos que haya posibilidad más delante de que se retome.

Como un esbozo de lo que encontrarán en la serie, trataré de reunirlo: 8 personas de diferentes partes del mundo; Lito, Riley, Will, Sun, Capheus, Kala, Wolfgang, Nomi, nivel socio-económico, idioma, cultura, género… logran tener una conexión auténtica e inusual entre ellos que englobará todas las emociones del otro. ¡Sí, señores, telepatía nivel Dios! Y finalmente les hablaré de uno de los reality que me acompañó en mi adolescencia. Este programa que transmitían en MTV, me mataba de risa, sinceramente soy la persona menos organizadora de fiestas que conozco, pero ver cómo unos adolescentes de clase alta (en su mayoría) pedían “la fiesta del año” era una locura.
Recuerdo que uno de los capítulos o de las personas que odié en su momento, fue el cumpleaños de Teyana Taylor, no sé si lo hacían a propósito, pero qué adolescente más chocante. En este programa, conocí a Chris Brown y a Rihanna mucho antes de que fuesen súper famosos. Chris siempre fue un mimado.

El reality también fue realizado en Latinoamérica, como “Quiero mis quinces” Y lo que me mataba de risa casi siempre era ver a estos jóvenes tratando de ser super originales con sus entradas, las invitaciones, el vestido. No sé, cada episodio nuevo me gustaba más, porque sentí el programa sincero, demasiado, casi todos eran mimados, esta era la característica principal y podías observarlo, un poco masoquista porque no soy así ni apoyaría ese tipo de actitudes, pero los validé viendo el programa. ¡Red flag! Yo crecí con MTV así que casi todos sus programas me los vi, Tila Tequila, Next, Teen Mom, Scream Queens, Happy Tree Friends… entre otros.

Y listo amigos, creo que esto ha sido todo. Tengo muchas otras series favoritas como The Crown, Anne with an E, Euphoria, Vikingos, Black mirror, Game of Thrones, Está bien no estar bien, Wandavision… De algunas ya he hablado anteriormente, les dejaré al final las reseñas por si quieren leerlas. Pero a grandes escalas, últimamente prefiero las series que las películas, me está costando ver pelis en este momento porque soy amante de la evolución de los personajes, eso es algo que me encanta de las series, además de que me permite a acompañarlos por más tiempo.
