Saludos, queridos amigos, amantes de las mascotas. Encantada de pasar por esta linda comunidad para contarles un poco de la vida de mis amores perrunos.
La semana pasada les tocó paseo a la peluquería, pues ya todos estaban tan peludos que casi que no veían con los pelos en los ojos. Su última visita a la peluquería fue en diciembre, cuando los llevé a acicalarse para recibir el año nuevo limpios y con su corte bajito como me gusta. Cuando me di cuenta de que habían pasado casi dos meses, me sorprendí por lo rápido que pasó el tiempo y lo mucho que les habían crecido los pelos.
El paseo en carro les encanta y cada vez que ven la dinámica de buscar las correas para salir, se emocionan tanto que no hay forma de hacerlos tranquilizar hasta que les abrimos la puerta del carro, suben y se acomadan en el puesto de atrás o, a veces, llevo a uno de los tres adelante conmigo.

Last week it was their turn to go to the groomer's because they were all so furry that they could hardly see with the hair in their eyes. Their last visit to the groomer was in December when I took them to get groomed to receive the new year clean and with their low cut as I like. When I realized it had been almost two months, I was amazed at how quickly the time passed and how much their hair had grown.
They love the car ride and every time they see the dynamic of looking for the leashes to go out, they get so excited that there is no way to calm them down until we open the car door, they get in and sit in the back seat or, sometimes, I take one of the three of them in the front with me.
Desde hace un tiempo los llevo a la misma clínica veterinaria para que les den su baño medicado y para que les hagan el corte de siempre porque la atención es estupenda. Los atienden con mucho cariño, el peluquero es muy amable y cuidadoso y el doctor los revisa bien. Si necesitan de algún tratamiento, él me lo indica y lo mejor es que ellos venden todo lo necesario en caso de que requieran un medicamento especial como ocurrió en esta oportunidad.
En la revisión y desparasitación, el veterinario se dio cuenta de que a Bruno y Blacky les estaba comenzando una otitis, por lo cual les indicó tratamiento. Esta enfermedad es frecuente en estos perritos y a los míos es la tercera vez que les pasa, así que tengo que estar siempre pendiente cuando veo que sacuden la cabeza o se rascan mucho las orejas. Para este malestar, en mi casa no falta el champú para hacerles la limpieza de las orejitas y las gotitas para la otitis. Efectivamente, el tratamiento que el veterinario me dijo que les aplicara para atacar pronto esa inflamación de los oídos fue el Xeruk que es el champú para limpiar primero toda la parte interna de la oreja y las gotas de Otrek que ayudarán a desinflamar. Afortunadamente, les estaba comenzando y todavía no habían sentido dolor como en otra ocasiones, en las que no se les puede tocar ni siquiera la cabeza.
Tener mascotas es tener a nuestro cargo unos animalitos para toda la vida, es un compromiso de amor con ellos que nos devuelven con fidelidad y compañía. A ellos debemos procurarles toda la protección y cuidados como parte importante de nuestra familia. Yo amo a mis tres hijos caninos y por ellos hago todo lo que esté a mi alcance para ofrecerles los cuidados, siempre que lo necesiten. Los he atendido amorosamente cuando han estado enfermos, los he curado en sus cirugías de esterilización y castración y mi mayor satisfacción es verlos sanos, juguetones y felices.
Así pues, comencé de inmediato con el tratamiento para la otitis, según como lo indicó el veterinario dos veces al día.
To have pets is to be in charge of animals for life, it is a commitment of love with them that they return to us with loyalty and companionship. We must provide them with all the protection and care as an important part of our family. I love my three canine children and for them, I do everything in my power to provide them with care whenever they need it. I have lovingly cared for them when they have been sick, I have nursed them through their spay and neuter surgeries and my greatest satisfaction is to see them healthy, playful, and happy.
So, I started immediately with the otitis treatment, as prescribed by the vet twice a day.
El tratamiento consiste en limpiar muy bien las orejas y para esto debemos apartar los pelitos que nacen desde adentro del oído y que, muchas veces, cuando intentamos sacarlos o cortárselos, les incomoda un poco, pero hay que hacerlo para que la zona quede despejada y puedan caer las gotas en el interior del oído. Intento hacerlo yo misma como lo hace el veterinario, sin usar tijeras, pero no puedo, me cuesta mucho porque siento que los lastimo y por eso uso las tijeras con mucho cuidado para ayudarme. Con la oreja sin pelitos, les pongo la solución jabonosa y medicada que es el champú para retirar,con un algodón, todo el sucio que se acumula ahí. Tomo otra motita de algodón para secar y luego les pongo cuatro gotitas de Otrek en cada oído. Hago este procedimiento en las dos orejas y a los dos perritos: a Bruno y aBlacky. Otras veces han estado los tres enfermos y el trabajo se multiplica por tres, pero yo encantada de poder atenderlos.

I try to do it myself as the vet does it, without using scissors, but I can't, it's very hard for me because I feel that I hurt them and that's why I use the scissors very carefully to help me. With the ear without hairs, I put the soapy and medicated solution that is the shampoo to remove, with a cotton, all the dirt that accumulates there. I take another cotton ball to dry and then I put four drops of Otrek in each ear. I do this procedure on both ears and both dogs: Bruno and Blacky. Other times all three have been sick and the work is multiplied by three, but I am delighted to be able to take care of them.
Les cuento que Bruno es el mejor paciente de los tres. Y aunque tengo que ir detrás de él para curarlo, luego de que ya lo tengo en mis piernas se queda quietecito. Es muy obediente y dócil y se deja limpiar, sin resistencia. Blacky es otro caso, a él tengo que cargarlo y traerlo hasta el lugar donde les hago el tratamiento, y en el camino va gruñendo, pero después cede a mi consentidera. Así he estado desde la semana pasada y estaré hasta el viernes próximo porque el tratamiento es por 10 días.
Lo más importante es que al término del mismo, ya ellos estén bien, sin ningún malestar y con sus oídos limpios y desinflamados.

Blacky is another case, I have to carry him and bring him to the place where I do the treatment, and on the way, he growls, but then he gives in to my pampering. I have been like this since last week and I will be until next Friday because the treatment is for 10 days.
The most important thing is that at the end of it, they are already well, without any discomfort and with their ears clean and disinflation.
