Happy New Year 2018! I am happy to join Steem today and give a brief introduction of myself. I am an Autism Dad my amazing Son was diagnosed at the age of 3 and he is now 5. These past two years have been difficult for me but not as much as a typical autism parent (I’ll explain after) but amazing for him, he’s come such a long way with early intervention. He is now verbal, interactive with peers and absolutely sweet to the core. Now back to why it was “easier for me”, I happen to work in the mental health field with individuals with Severe autism starting ten years prior to my son being born and still to this day. Autism is an amazing thing which is widely misunderstood and I am happy to share my thoughts with anyone here in the Steem community. I am a self taught visual artist and an enthusiast of Bitcoin since it first crossed my path during my brief stint of admiration for precious metals and storing wealth. Bitcoin of course introduced me to block chain technology and has opened an exciting door into the future. I thoroughly admire all of the intelligent passionate individuals who I am being familiarized with daily through reading & research and I am looking forward to many of the incredibly promising projects coming to fruition.
