"Man endowed with intelligence can, with the gift of knowledge he possesses, attain the necessary capacity for all artistic skill and technique."
-Theophilus Presbyter
Men and women are different, there's no denying that and it's good that they are. Well I like it that way personally. If I were the same as a man I wouldn't be a woman.
The difference is unquestionable, both physically, and in ways of thinking, acting, reacting and often even capacities... much more.
In the difference lies the enrichment of both, because one can learn from the other.
I'm not sure if I ever want to be a man, I don't think so, but I have thought about those differences and what they are like. We differ in many ways.
Of course it would be nice if we were equal in other ways, such as equal opportunities, equal rights, equal treatment and so on. For a long time that was not the case and still in many places it is not the case... in other places it went to the other extreme and I think extremes are not good.
But it would be very interesting to have those qualities of a man or to be a man for a period of time. To be a man for a period of time, not too long because I like being a woman, would give me a different perspective, I think of the whole world.
We think differently, we feel differently and we see things differently.
I would like to experience that practicality that you have, the ability for quick resolutions and the fact, great fact, that there are times when... you don't think about anything.
Women I think we can't help but interconnect the different neurons in our brain and a lot of times they get tangled up and we don't know how to put them in their place.
When do we stop thinking? Never
But men can and when a problem arises they are super practical, quick and to the point. That's the reality and it has to be recognised.
Of course women have a lot of positives. Often wonderful things come out of this combination of different skills.
I think men worry less, rather they take care of things, which is not the same thing, and we, we give so much thought to the matter that we can drown ourselves. That's how it is, they are practical and get to the point quickly.
It wouldn't be a bad thing to experiment for a while with their natural ability to make decisions.
Of course, not all women are the same, and neither are all men, just as it is true that abilities can be learned and moulded. But in them it is natural.
Being a man I could experience that ability to be practical and to have a different view of things in life, I think.
They live more in the present, even if they are cautious for the future. But you know what I mean, they live in the here and now and their mind is very different from women.
Imagine a combination of both brains, with all the capacities together.
I would learn a lot from all this, because theory is one thing, but it is another thing to have experienced being a man and to experience first hand what they think, how they think and how they solve.
You learn much more from examples and this would be a vivid example.
I think it would absolutely change my perspective on absolutely everything. I would be able to see things in two different ways and see solutions, for example, to problems, which I didn't see before.
I would have two points of view on myself and I could work on improving myself by combining both. Because both sexes have very positive things, mixing the two can mean a great improvement.
Thank you very much for these fantastic topics you offer us to reflect and raise our opinions.
I wish you all a very good weekend. Best regards and see you next time.
