Good day, Steemians! You might be wondering what that is! 🙄 Well, that's what we're gonna talk about today. That is Chicken Cordon Bleu, cooked the Filipino way. 😉 Looks awful, right? 🤣 But don't worry, that's not yet done. I'll share with you how to make this dish.
Here's what you will need.
1 1/2 K chicken breast fillet
Marinade:
1 T kalamansi juice
1 T knorr soy sauce
1 t MSG
salt, pepper and seasoning to taste
1 pack square cheese
1 pack cooked ham
1/4 K hotdog
1 1/2 all-purpose flour
3 egss, beaten
1 C bread crumbs
1 L oil for frying
toothpicks
Let's start!
First, you have to slice the chicken into squares and marinate in 15 minutes.
Next, lay a slice of cheese, ham and hotdog on the meat and roll them. Then, secure with a toothpick. That's why it now looks like this. 😁
Then, dredge in flour, dip in egg and roll in bread crumbs. And you will now have something that looks like this.
Lastly, fry in oil for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Use low to medium fire to avoid burning the crumbs.
Slice and serve. Remember to remove all the toothpicks while you slice. You don't want your guests to be chewing toothpicks. 🤣 Aren't they cute? 😍 This is best served with bechamel sauce.
There you go! Hope you enjoyed reading! Till next time, dear Steemians!
