For a long time, everything stayed flat ideas, routines, even dreams. Days became blurred together in a quiet, horizontal line of comfort and hesitation. It was easy to stay there, where nothing stretched too far or demanded too much. But nothing truly grow lying flat.
“Time to get vertical” is that moment of decision, the shift from comfort to action the time to leave comfort zone and wake up. It’s standing up when it’s easier to stay down, choosing movement over stillness. Being vertical means reaching upward, taking risks, and allowing yourself to be seen. It’s about growth, and growth is never horizontal. Choosing success over poverty.
When a seed begins its journey, it doesn’t spread sideways first it pushes upward, breaking through the soil into the unknown. That upward movement is struggle, but it’s also transformation. In the same way, stepping into something new learning a skill, chasing a goal, or changing a mindset requires that same push.
Getting vertical isn’t always dramatic. Sometimes it’s quiet, sometimes it’s surviving, waking up earlier, trying again after failure, or believing in yourself just a little more than yesterday. It’s the small, steady rise that builds strength over time. Last night I deactivated my sporty bet account, it’s time to stop gambling on luck of uncertainty and try working with certainty and new innovation.
Life doesn’t reward staying flat. It rewards those willing to stand, stretch, and climb. So when the moment comes, and it will, remember this: staying where you are may feel safe, but rising is where life truly begins.
