Covered in sore my life remains in a breath,
All i ever toiled for in a day was lost,
Oh, how uncertain are riches,
For last week they were with me as closest of friends,
But just over the night we became worst of enemies,
My family all gone,
In a news headline their names reechoed as dead in disaster,
As though that was not enough my body went down into horror of pains,
I served God and was His friend,
But why was i forsaken,
What did i ever do wrong,
Even my wife tempted me to curse God and die,
But how will i ever curse God because i lack the ephemeral,
My love for God is not material dependent,
My commitment to Him is not because of what He can give,
Even if He kills me I will love Him,
I will never curse God.....
These and many more words i could coin from Job.
If your relationship with God is because of what you will receive from Him, then you really do not love Him
