Although it is a very beautiful city, the history of Timisoara, hides many memories that our grandparents still live. In this city started the Romanian revolution of 1989, when people were tired of Communist rule and went out on the street calling: today in Timisoara, tomorrow all over the country.
On the steps of the cathedral that you see in the picture, many young men who wanted their freedom at all costs fell under the gun fire.
A legend says that on December 1, there are still heard the sounds of the bullets at night and that it feels cold when you pass the front of the cathedral. I do not know if it is true, but i always look proudly at the city from where the revolution started changed the way we live today..
In 2021, Timisoara will be the European cultural capital, which is fantastic even if the traces that marked the life of the inhabitants of this city are still visible..
