Amazing, what just happened? My spouse and i fell asleep on issues the plane on the way to our first gig in April for the Hyperspace Tour, and I awoke at home in {Aug|September|July} and the tour is over. But I do have vivid memories of a wonderful dream with this band performing around the country, and Canada, getting together with new fans, and ability to hear previous fans tell all of us that this was your best BOSTON show, {ever before|at any time}. We got to spend some time {knowing|understanding|observing} {Mary|Nancy} Jett and the Blackhearts, Kenny, Dougie, Hal and Michael. We had a lot of laughs and some touching {occasions} {viewing|observing|seeing} the faces in the audience when a particular song would mean so much {to them|on their behalf|for these people}.

{This|That} would be hard {to choose|to select} a single highlight for this year's tour. {We|I actually|My spouse and i} would definitely have to rate playing the Boston ma Garden in front of {family and friends|relatives and buddies} as a "homecoming" way up there as a life experience that can't get much better. Additionally, {getting the|obtaining the} chance to meet, get-to-know and more specifically talk Rock & Roll history with {Mary|Nancy} Jett and Kenny Laguna- and be fortunate enough {to obtain|to acquire} them agree to do a job interview for the history course I teach- I {count number|depend|rely} myself insanely lucky. {Finally|Last but not least}, in the wake of losing my father this spring, this tour- and many of the {tunes|tracks|music} and their respective {symbolism|connotations|definitions} (i. e. what it mean's "to be a man", what {actually is|is really|in fact is} important in life, not looking back and looking {ahead|forwards|frontward} and time marching on.... ) struck a very emotionally chord in {me personally|myself}. I've been incredibly {lucky|privileged|fortuitous} to be able to play these songs {many} times over the years- but this year- {We|I actually|My spouse and i} felt like I really needed to live them...

After being {eliminated|removed|absent} on the road and traveling so much, {arriving|approaching} back to play to the amazing crowd at Comerica Theatre in my home state of {Az|Arizona ( az )|Illinois}, where the Sonoran {Wilderness|Wasteland|Leave} weather is warm and the monsoon engenders what I like to call "magic time" in the evening sky, Phoenix was my favorite show on the "2017 "Hyperspace Tour". I got to see my lovely wife and awesome son. He's about to turn 15 and in the process of learning guitar and keyboard so, obviously, it was a thrill for him to experience "live" a pair of the best on the planet; {Mary|Ben|Jeff} Scholz and Gary Pihl. He went to appear check, said hi to the band and {team|staff|folks} and also {an in back of|a back of} the scene, firsthand look at all the {amazing|outstanding|extraordinary}, amazing gear that "Boston" travels with. Actually {We|I actually|My spouse and i} bought him his first electric guitar from Tom's guitar tech, the amazing Rick Pietila and the first note he {performed|enjoyed|played out} on it was through Tom's amp. Shhh... A lot of my {nearest|best} friends were there to add to the {celebrations|fun|festivals}. It was a great show and everyone {experienced|got|acquired} a blast! There really is no place as sweet as home.
Ugly
{Among the|One of many} highlights of the Hyperspace Tour was doing a show with {Green|Unknown|Black} Oyster Cult. My good friend from high school, Jules Radino, is their drummer. Not only was it great to run into him, but we were both so excited and proud to be 'representing" our little area and high school band by getting to work in rock and roll!

What made this {head to|travel|concert tours} special to me were the kids who {went to|joined} to the shows {using their|with the} parents, each year there are more and more coming to the show. The background music of Boston touched me at a very young {age group|era|time}, {and it is|and it's really} nice to see it still touches the younger generation today!

Going Hyperspace in 2017 with Boston, what an event! Especially coming {back again|again} to play in the very city where it all began... now {which|that is|gowns} "More {Than the usual|When compared to a|Compared to a} Feeling"! Boston ma is also {the location|metropolis} where I {started out|commenced} my own music career, music education and met {my spouse|my partner|my significant other} participating in a Boston local nightclub.
The last time Boston played the TD Garden was in 2013 for the Boston {Solid|Good} benefit concert where {patients|subjects|affected individuals} and heros where {appropriately|deservingly} honored in an {psychologically|mentally} mixed nights somber and celebration.
{Time for|Getting back to} "The Garden" with that memory and looking ahead to the wonderful friends, family and four decades of multigenerational enthusiastic fans while {reading|experiencing|seeing and hearing} Tom Scholz say, "Welcome to Boston"!
It does no will not get a lot better than|greater than that!
