As you know, I've been going back to my embroidery because it's the activity that calms me down the most lately. I want to give my family handkerchiefs with personalized embroidery for Christmas, but for this I need to practice, practice and practice.

I also have as a personal project to make a kind of album of embroidered flowers. So for both projects I have to practice a lot.

I saw a project similar to this on Pinterest and fell in LOVE. So I wanted to try it.

So this is what I did:

Como saben he estado retomando mi bordado porque es la actividad que últimamente me calma más. Quiero regalarle a mi familia pañuelos con bordados personalizados para navidad, pero para ello necesito practicar, practicar y practicar.
También tengo como proyecto personal hacer una especie de álbum de flores bordadas. Así que para ambos proyectos tengo que practicar mucho.
Vi un proyecto similar a este en Pinterest y quede ENAMORADA. Así que quise intentarlo.
Así que esto fue lo que hice:

Step 1. Draw lines

I usually make very detailed strokes with the things I'm going to embroider. Each petal, each leaf or branch. But this time I wanted to do a bit more free embroidery, so I only did three lines because I only wanted to make three Lavender stems.

Usualmente hago trazos muy detallados con las cosas que voy a bordar. Cada petalo, cada hoja o rama. Pero esta vez quise hacer un bordado un poco más libre, así que solo hice tres líneas porque solo quería hacer tres tallos de Lavanda.

Step 2. Stem Stitch

For the stems of the flowers, I used a stem stitch which is done following the instructions in the images. This one is supposed to be green but since I don't have it at the moment, these will be some abstract lavenders. Bare with me... Use your imagination hahaha
Use 3 strands of yarn for the stems.

Puntada Tallo
Para los tallos de las flores, usé una puntada tallo la cual se hace siguiendo las instrucciones de las imágenes. Se supone que este debería ser verde pero como no tenia en este momento, estas serán unas lavandas abstractas. Usen su imaginación hahaha
Use 3 hebras de hilo para los tallos.

Step 3. Lazy Daisy Stitch

Then for the flowers, I used a lazy daisy stitch. At first, I thought that with a thread with 3 strands it would be fine but I realized that it lacked body so I cut the petals that I had made and started again with a thread with 6 strands, that is, without removing any strands.
I did make these with a botanically correct color so you don't have to use your imagination to look for similarities with their natural counterparts.

Puntada Margarita
Luego para las flores, usé una puntada margarita. Al principio, pensé que con un hilo con 3 hebras quedaría bien pero me di cuenta que le faltaba cuerpo así que corte los pétalos que había hecho y empecé de nuevo con un hilo con 6 hebras, es decir, sin quitarle ninguna hebra.
Estas sí las hice con un color botánicamente correctos así que no hay que usar la imaginación para buscar similitudes con sus contrapartes naturales.
