As the MXoN fast approaches and the motocross outdoor seasons all continue to completion news is starting to filter out about the upcoming 2018 Motocross of Nations at RedBud. Belgium always seem to put out a strong offering and this year is certainly no different. The team consists of Clement Desalle, Jago Geerts, and Jeremy Van Horebeek will be the main 'Red Knights' as the Belgium team are commonly named. They will include Julien Lieber and Kevin Strijbos as their reserve riders should anything happen.
Clement Desalle
Believe it or not, Desalle has not competed for Belgium since the 2013 MXoN but he was part of the winning team which consisted of himself, Van Horebeek, and Ken De Dycker. He is currently sitting in third in the MXGP series which only puts two very fast KTM riders ahead of him so puts him in the 'very fast rider' category.
Van Horebeek
The long time member of the Belgium squad was a good match up last time Desalle was riding as they took the overall win. He also helped lead them to fourth place in last years MXoN of Great Britain alongside Strijbos and Brent van Doninck.
Jago Geerts
This will be Gerrts first ride for the Red Knights and he will be competing in the MX2 class, he will be very keen to prove himself and i think he will round off the team very well.
